MEDITATION

The art of sitting in purposeful silence and a life long tool, meditation offers numerous benefits - stress reduction, increased focus, clarity and creative problem solving to name a few.
To help with implementing the process I offer a short 4 week introductory program to give you the necessary tools and support to build your practice.

MINDFULNESS BASED STRESS REDUCTION

An 8 week evidence-based program that offers intensive mindfulness training to assist people with stress, anxiety, depression and pain. It is a practical approach which trains attention, allowing people to cultivate awareness and have increased control over their mind/body states. This approach uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, yoga and exploration of patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling and action.

MINDFULNESS BASED COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY

A form of verbal therapy aimed at identifying, challenging, and changing negative patterns of behavior. Through one-on-one work, we tap into deep wells of personal willpower and take control of your present and future. Throughout the process, emphasis is placed on mindset, creative problem solving, and personal responsibility.
This approach is used to help heal a wide variety of mental health issues. I specialize in chronic stress, anxiety, depression, body image issues, alcohol dependency, and positive habit formation.
